We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 ARTicipate Project Grants!

The ARTicipate Endowment Fund, established in 2007 by Arts Ottawa in partnership with the City of Ottawa, supports these efforts by enabling artistic programming at the Shenkman Arts Centre. Since its inception, the Fund has granted over $1,048,390 through 243 grants to local artists and arts organizations.

ARTicipate Grants support artistic activity at the Shenkman Arts Centre by funding projects that activate its professional spaces and connect with the local community. Open to artists and arts organizations working in all disciplines, these grants provide critical support to create, develop, and present new work.

Applicants can apply under one of three streams:

• LaLande + Doyle Exhibition Space
• Events and Performances
• Creation and Development

Application deadline: July 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM (ET)
Projects must take place at the Shenkman Arts Centre
