Terms and conditions
ARTicipate Grant Project 2022: L&D Exhibition Space
Recipients of an ARTicipate Project Grant agree to the Terms and Conditions as outlined below. The ARTicipate Endowment Fund and Arts Network Ottawa reserve the right to change or alter the Terms and Conditions. Failure to adhere to the terms and conditions may result in the revocation of ARTicipate Funds and/or the applicant being ineligible for subsequent funding from the ARTicipate Endowment Fund.
USE OF FUNDS
Funds shall be used only for the purposes outlined in the original ARTicipate Project Grant application. Changes to the scale and activities, including changes in budget, leadership structure and programming, must be reported in writing to, and receive approval from, the Program Manager, Arts Network Ottawa.
UNUSED FUNDS
Any portion of the funding that is unused and/or was designated for activities that were not executed shall be returned to the ARTicipate Endowment Fund.
REPAYMENT OF FUNDING
The recipient shall repay the ARTicipate Endowment Fund the whole or any portion of funding:
- If the recipient organization ceases operation, is wound up or dissolved
- That is unused and/or was designated or committed for activities that were not executed for reason beyond COVID-19 restrictions (See below).
- Experiences a change in its purpose or objectives (for example, from not-for-profit to for-profit entity), without prior written notification to the stewards of the ARTicipate Endowment Fund
- Has knowingly provided false information in the application or any attachments
- Breaches any of the terms and conditions of the ARTicipate Project Grant
ADAPTATION, SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION OF PROJECT DUE TO COVID-19
In the event that COVID-19 protocols change between when a grant is awarded and the project is complete, as a first resort, staff of Arts Network Ottawa and the Shenkman Arts Centre commit to supporting the recipient to adapt their project activities to meet these new requirements.
Should new guidelines and restrictions make it impossible to adapt project activities, the project may be suspended and shall proceed once all parties have agreed it is safe to do so, in accordance with future protocols.
If the project is not able to move forward due to a prolonged resurgence of COVID-19, as a last resort, the project may be terminated. In this case, the artist will return any portion of the grant not already spent and/or committed, in writing, by contract or other form of confirmation which must be approved by Arts Network Ottawa.
ACCOUNTING
The recipient is required to keep and maintain records, invoices and other documents that relate to the manner in which the ARTicipate Project Funds were used.
REPORTING
All successful applicants are required to submit a report form detailing how they used the funding awarded to them. Successful applicants must submit images or other documentation of their activities for use in future ARTicipate publications, reporting and promotion. This report must be submitted either following completion of funded activities, 12 months after receipt of the funds, or at the time of subsequent application to the ARTicipate Endowment Fund program, whichever is sooner.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT
The recipient is required to publicly acknowledge the support of the ARTicipate Endowment Fund. Logos and guidelines will be provided to successful applicants.

ARTICIPEZ 2022: L’espace d’exposition Lalande + Doyle
Les bénéficiaires de subventions de projet ARTicipez acceptent les conditions énoncées ci-dessous. Le Fonds de dotation ARTicipez et le Réseau des arts d’Ottawa se réservent le droit de changer ou de modifier les conditions. Le non-respect de ces conditions pourrait entraîner la révocation du financement d’ARTicipez et/ou l’inadmissibilité du candidat à un financement ultérieur du Fonds de dotation ARTicipez.
UTILISATION DES FONDS
Les sommes reçues ne doivent servir qu’aux fins énoncées dans la demande de subvention ARTicipez. Tout changement relatif à l’étendue et à la nature des activités, y compris les changements au budget et à la programmation, doit être communiqué par écrit et être approuvé par le Gestionnaire de programmes du Réseau des arts d’Ottawa.
FINANCEMENT NON UTILISÉ
Toute somme inutilisée ou désignée pour des activités qui n’ont pas eu lieu doit être remboursée au Fonds de dotation ARTicipez.
REMBOURSEMENT DU FINANCEMENT
Le bénéficiaire devra rembourser le financement, en totalité ou en partie, au Fonds de dotation ARTicipez :
- S’il n’a pas été utilisé et/ou s’il a été réservé ou engagé pour des activités qui n’ont pas été exécutées pour des raisons allant au-delà des restrictions liées à la COVID-19 (voir dessous)
- Si l’organisation qui reçoit les fonds cesse ses opérations, est liquidée ou dissoute
- S’il y a des modifications concernant sa raison d’être ou ses objectifs (par exemple, l’organisation passe d’un statut à but non lucratif à un statut à but lucratif) sans que les gestionnaires du Fonds de dotation ARTicipez en aient été informés par écrit préalablement.
- S’ils ont sciemment fourni de fausses informations dans leur formulaire de demande ou dans les pièces jointes
- S’il y a eu violation des conditions de la subvention de projet ARTicipez.
ADAPTATION, INTERRUPTION OU ABANDON DU PROJET EN RAISON DE LA COVID-19
Si les protocoles COVID-19 sont modifiés entre le moment où la subvention est accordée et le moment où le projet est complété, à titre de premier recours, le personnel du Réseau des arts d’Ottawa et du Centre des arts Shenkman s’engage à soutenir le bénéficiaire pour lui permettre d’adapter les activités de son projet afin de respecter les nouvelles exigences.
Si de nouvelles lignes directrices et de nouvelles restrictions font en sorte qu’il est impossible d’adapter les activités du projet, le projet peut être interrompu et pourra reprendre une fois que toutes les parties seront d’accord qu’il est sécuritaire de poursuivre le projet, et ce, tout en respectant les protocoles futurs.
Si le projet ne peut aller de l’avant en raison d’une résurgence prolongée de la COVID-19, à titre de dernier recours, nous pourrions mettre fin au projet. Dans ce cas, l’artiste remboursera toute portion de la subvention qui n’a pas déjà été dépensée et/ou engagée par écrit, par contrat ou autre forme de confirmation qui devra être approuvée par le Réseau des arts d’Ottawa.
COMPTABILITÉ
Le bénéficiaire doit conserver des dossiers, des factures et d’autres documents concernant l’utilisation de la subvention ARTicipez.
RAPPORTS
Tous les candidats retenus doivent soumettre un formulaire de rapport indiquant en détail comment ils ont utilisé les fonds qui leur ont été accordés. Les candidats retenus devront soumettre des images ou autre documentation de leurs activités en vue de leur utilisation dans de futurs rapports, publications et promotions d’ARTicipez. Ce rapport doit être présenté à la fin des activités subventionnées, 12 mois suivant la réception de la subvention ou au moment de soumettre une autre demande dans le cadre du programme du Fonds de dotation ARTicipez, la première de ces éventualités prévalant.
RECONNAISSANCE DU SOUTIEN FINANCIE
Le bénéficiaire se doit de reconnaître publiquement le soutien qu’il a reçu du Fonds de dotation ARTicipez. Des lignes directrices et des logos seront fournis aux candidats retenus.
