The Shenkman Arts Centre will truly be a signature destination in the city and a home for local artists that reflects the rich diversity of the east end’s artistic community. The 84,000 square foot facility will feature:

- a flexible 100-seat studio theatre
- a municipal art gallery
- a meeting room
- main foyers designed to serve as art exhibition/reception space
- visual arts and pottery studios
- two rehearsal studios (music and dance)
- two artist-in-residence studios for visual artists
- new media studios
