AOE Arts Council created the ARTicipate Endowment Fund to support artists in the creation and production of their works within the Shenkman Arts Centre. The annual interest from the endowment fund will be given out each year in the form of grants and will help ensure a sustainable fund for the arts in our community.This fund is a source of financial support in the form of grants for a variety of local artists and arts organizations offering programming in the Centre. The fund will allow affordable access to the artistique experience for artists of all ages!

Revenues from the fund support ongoing artistic activities in the Shenkman Arts Centre and will also help sustain the programs offered by its resident partners (AOE Arts Council, Gloucester Pottery School, Mouvement d’implication francophone d’Orléans - MIFO, Ottawa School of Art, OYP Theatre School). The fund will enable resident partners to hire instructors, expand their programming and enhance the arts experience at the Centre.
